Pitt staff members know how hard the University of Pittsburgh has worked to reduce costs and implement efficiencies in areas like employee benefits, energy conservation, and strategic purchasing.

And yet, state support for Pitt continues to decline. In fact, the Commonwealth invests fewer state dollars in Pitt today than it did 26 years ago.

Please write to your state legislators and the governor, asking them to reconsider proposed cuts to Pitt's state appropriation for next year.
