Let Your Voice Be Heard in Harrisburg
The University of Pittsburgh desperately needs your voices—and those of your sons and daughters attending Pitt—to be heard in Harrisburg. Silence in the face of proposed devastating and unjustified budget cuts could be misinterpreted as indifference toward those cuts. Or even agreement with them.
In addition to writing to your state legislators and the governor, please urge your Pitt-attending children to do so.
Also, please consider making an appointment to visit your legislators in the company of the Pitt student(s )in your family. Meeting face-to-face with Pitt students and their family members will go a long way toward convincing Pennsylvania lawmakers that voters strongly support high-quality, affordable higher education.
